Writing a Letter to 'Self'
Purpose
This activity gathers information about your prior classroom experiences related to lesson planning and cognitive load. You will reflect on authentic moments from your reaching practice, planning and cognitive load. You will reflect on authentic moments from your teaching practice.
Instructions
Use the form below to write a private, reflective letter of approximately 1,000 words to your future self about your teaching. Be as honest and specific as you like—no one else will see this letter. Please respond to the prompts below using your assigned pseudonym name, grade level, subject(s), and region. Do not include any identifying information about you, students, school, or colleagues. Focus on your own thought process, observations, and interpretations from your prior classroom (lived) experience.”

You will then need to submit your Reflection Letter to access Task 2. Lastly, your Lesson Plans and video explanation must be submitted before you can schedule your personal Interview.
